Sunday Service

Worship service is at 9:45 each Sunday morning. Childcare for preschoolers is provided; school-aged children are invited to attend the worship service with their family. Additional educational opportunities are provided for children, youth, and adults from 11:15 - noon.

The McKinley community is aware that some members of the Presbyterian Church USA interpret the Book of Order (Presbyterian Church USA's constitution) in a way that excludes openly gay and lesbian people, as well as some heterosexual, bisexual and transgendered persons, from positions of ordained leadership. Believing this interpretation to be discriminatory, McKinley Memorial Presbyterian Church became a More Light Presbyterian Church (a group of 100+ Presbyterian churches that welcome full church participation regardless of sexual orientation) in 1980. As such, we continue to work with the greater Presbyterian church to remove any barriers to ordination, thereby welcoming everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, into full participation in our congregation.
