A progressive, inclusive, Presbyterian congregation bringing God's good news to students and community in Urbana-Champaign

This Sunday, January 15

Categories: Church

  • Choir rehearsal: 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Others are welcome to use the pews for quiet contemplation.
  • Fellowship: Join others for treats, drinks, and conversation in our basement fellowship space.
  • Worship: We will be back in the sanctuary this Sunday—Pastor Heidi will teach us a new sung response that uses a text by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and is composed by Mark Miller (who composed the communion responses we sometimes sing). Worship reflections will focus on John 2:1–11 and the theme of “Unexpected Generosity— Turning Water into Wine.” Children and youth will leave the service for their annual service project of making bird feeders.
